We are glad you have inquired about our church. You may have looked us up specifically, linked to us from another site, or found us by surfing the web. However you came, we are glad you are here. Let me tell you a little about myself. Glenda and I graduated from Prairie Bible College in 1973 and were married June 2, 1973. On our second wedding anniversary I took my first pastorate. I have served four churches, one in Montana, two in Oregon and now Burley Bible Church. We have five grown children who love God and are seeking to serve Him. My family and I came to Burley in April of 2001. I have found so much joy in serving God, seeing lives and families once ruined by sin transformed by the power of God through Jesus Christ. I believe it is a sin for pastors to preach boring sermons. What a travesty to take the most fantastic book in the world, the Bible, and not communicate its message of grace and salvation in practical everyday language so that even a child can grasp and apply it. It is my goal to put God's message into "shoe leather", explaining practical everyday ways of obeying and serving God. I aim to share "Good News you can use".
